Kaiser Permanente Watts provides high-quality medical care, social services, and educational opportunities via state-of-the-art medical offices and the expanded Watts Counseling and Learning Center (CLC) for approximately 39,000 community residents. The facility offers primary and specialty care, counseling, educational programs, and early childhood education as well as an on-site pharmacy, lab, and radiology services. Located on a single campus, this project fosters collaboration between medical and social services to address comprehensive health needs.
As part of Pivot’s continued partnership with Kaiser Permanente, the Construction Solutions division worked alongside the Perkins+Will and Swinerton to implement a DIRTT wall system into the health and learning space on campus.
The use of prefabricated construction methodologies throughout the ground up medical office buildings is part of a larger initiative to help reduce the design and construction schedules as well as provide cost predictability on a broader scale.
